On July 22, “ ?Zhenhai No.1 ” , the first 300 feet jack-up drilling platform constructed by ZPMC, successfully launched, which have important strategic significance in high-end offshore engineering for ZPMC.
The platform was launched for 5 days and was divided for 3 stages included lightering, launching and berthing. “ ?Zhenhai No.1 ” started being lightered onto the barge at 5 a.m. on July 18, successfully towed to the anchorage on July 21, successfully launched on July 22, towed back to base at 3 p.m. on July 22, which meant the success of launching.
“ ?Zhenhai No.1 ”, the first jack-up rig constructed by ZPMC, is suitable for offshore oil exploration. The platform’s operating water depth is 100 meters, the maximum drilling depth is 9144 meters, and the rated load is 2722 tons. This three parameters have created a record in 300 feet jack-up rig. This platform will be the main type in offshore oil exploration. The foundation design of the platform was offered by F&G, and ZPMC autonomously finished detail design and production design.
ZPMC always focused on “ building core ” during the construction of the platform. The key corollary equipments include jacking system, locking system, leg, deck crane, etc. were all designed and constructed by ZPMC, which break the monopoly of foreign technology.
ZPMC innovatively used precision inspection system, and imported international advanced precision control software and total station, which insured the precision control of platform construction. For instance, the precision of 125-meter-long leg was controlled within millimeter. The whole platform had tens of thousands of welding seams. ZPMC established ID card for each welding seam through welding seam tracking system, which could detailedly record inspection time, inspection personnel and inspection content. In this way, the inspection of welding seam could be tracked, the quality and precision could be controlled. This platform naturalized ABS. Nine lifting structure size was controlled exactly so that one-time inspection pass rate is 100 percent.
“ ?Zhenhai No.1 ” would have the service conditions at the end of this year after a series of debugging and test of penetrating leg.
