The special team for crane upgrades is based in Rotterdam and consists of local management with extensive knowledge of crane engineering, each of them having a long track record in this type business.

The turnkey project included a total of eight cranes, including the heightening of four cranes for serving larger ships.

All cranes required modifications to the rail span as well as the electric installation and other mechanical parts to adapt to their new location.

The cranes were raised in an extreme tight schedule to fit customer’s planning. “All engineering, material supplies and operational activities were done in-house, that allowed us to plan and execute the project with a crucial hourly accuracy,” said Eelco.
